Richard M. Goldberg, M.D.

Picture of Richard Goldberg MDDr. Goldberg is the managing partner of Partners Imaging Center of Sarasota. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.

Dr. Goldberg has been practicing radiology in Sarasota, FL for more than 30 years and has developed a large referral base of physicians.

His area of specialty is Prostate, Thoracic, GI, GU, Cardiovascular, Cancer and Body Imaging.

 

Roman Rozin, M.D.

Dr. Rozin received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, and a dedicated fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of Pittsburgh. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.

When Dr. Rozin joined Dr. Goldberg in 2001, he became the areas only fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologist and set new standards of imaging protocols and interpretation for the orthopedic and podiatric community. His practice is dedicated exclusively to musculoskeletal radiology and he interprets exams, performs arthrograms and interventional procedures.  Dr. Rozin also consults with many orthopedic and rheumatologic groups that provide imaging services to their patients. He is frequently asked for second opinions and has read for leading local baseball teams and players from IMG Bollettieri Acadamy.

 

Shamit Sarangi, M.D. 

Dr. Sarangi serves as Director of Neuroradiology at Partners Imaging Centers. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology with additional Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology.

He obtained his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Sarangi completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency and a 2-year Neuroradiology Fellowship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

Dr. Sarangi spent his first six years in private practice as a partner Neuroradiologist at Naples Radiologists and a partner Neuroradiologist for a large Radiology practice in the Midwest. He provides Neuroradiology interpretation and consultation for several professional / collegiate sports organizations and provides neuroimaging consultation for professional sports leagues. He has extensive experience and expertise in neuroimaging, head and neck radiology, and spinal injections.

 

David Picca, M.D.

Dr. David Picca is Partners Imaging Director of Breast Imaging with 20+ years experience as a breast imaging specialist. He has expertly interpreted numerous 2D/3D screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, breast MRI, and molecular PET/CT breast imaging exams. He is a skilled breast interventionist, having performed over a thousand successful stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guided breast biopsies, cyst aspirations, and other breast procedures.

Dr. Picca is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at Florida State University and his Medical Degree (MD) from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Mercer University School of Medicine and a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Additional fellowship training included radiology subspecialties at the Medical College of Virginia and breast imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University. Dr. Picca is an Assistant Professor in Radiology at the University of South Florida and is a member of the American College of Radiology, Society of Breast Imaging, and other professional societies.

Dr. Picca brings his passion and expertise in breast imaging to his practice at Partners Imaging Centers in Sarasota and Bradenton. He is a caring patient advocate and consultant, leading the Partners Team of breast imaging professionals. Together, they are making a positive impact in our community.
